Introducing
PJ LaRue

PJ's inspirations are hiking, photography and environmental consciousness. PJ loves to write and is developing her second career as an author.


Her works include the first book in her children's book series, The Mystic Princesses and the Whirlpool, which has been honored with the indieBRAG Award. The Mystic Princesses and the Magic Show, second in the series, is now available in ebook format. The print book will be published soon. The third book in the series, The Mystic Princesses and the Volcano is underway.

Although PJ's childhood was dysfunctional, she has broken the domestic violence cycle with her happy marriage of thirty-three years, which is still going strong. Her succinct book, After "I Do!" A Marriage Map, is filled with points of wisdom and anecdotes from her marriage.

Point of View is an anthology of short stories. Discover the identity of DB Cooper, how couture and chocolate bring the end of the world, the connection between John Wilkes Booth and Lee Harvey Oswald, the hidden reason for Titanic's loss, and more.

The Prairie Princess is a short story where a father tells his daughter how he and his wife met. The story won the November 2013 flash fiction contest at www.WritersType.com

The Confession of D. B. Cooper is a short story solving the mystery of the 1970's airline hijacking won an honorable mention in the Writers Digest Crime Competition. The title and author's name were printed in the May/June 2012 issues of Writers Digest. The Confession of D. B. Cooper is included in her third book, Point of View.
